The **Middle Game** is where the story of the game is written. Now that your pieces are out and your King is safe, you must decide how to attack and how to defend.
Outposts: A square (usually in the center or on the opponent's side) that is protected by your pawn and cannot be attacked by enemy pawns. These are "dream homes" for Knights.
Coordinate Your Army: In the middle game, pieces are strongest when they work together. A lone Queen is a target; a Queen supported by a centralized Knight is a nightmare.
In Task 1, you will move your Knight to an "outpost" on d5. From here, the Knight controls a massive number of squares and puts pressure on the Black position.
In Task 2, you'll shift your Queen to the King's side. This creates a "local superiority" of attackers, making it hard for Black to defend all the incoming threats at once.
